Jennette McCurdy mother who dies - Debra McCurdy Dead 17 Years After Cancer Battle
What a blow. Once the cancer goes into remission Debra and she has lived cancer-free for more than 15 years, Jennette, 21, thinks that his mother had survived the worst. But God says another, the cancer came back in 2010 and spread throughout his body, and spread to his brain, according to TMZ.
Jennette is scheduled to host Worldwide Day of Play at the Nickelodean New York City on Sept. 21, but TMZ reports that he had to cancel.
Poor Jennette must be beside herself as she obviously meant the world to him. Fortunately, he has the support of his friends, family and boyfriend, NBA Detroit Pistons' players Andre Drummond, to get him through this.
Nickelodeon also stood by the young star, said in a statement to HollywoodLife.com:
"We are very sad to learn that Debbie McCurdy, Jennette McCurdy's mother, died. Much like her daughter, Debbie strength is an inspiration to all who knew him, especially for us in Nickelodeon are considered family. Thought we went to Jennette sincere and people who he loved. "
